What is the proposed project?
IMT operates a recycling facility (Facility). The Facility is seeking to transition its existing Solid Waste Management Facility Registration (#30W39R) to a Permit to comply with requirements of New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) Part 360/361 regulations established in July 2023. Under the Permit, the Facility would continue to serve the community by recycling construction and demolition materials for reuse, including source-separated concrete, asphalt, rock, brick, and excavated materials, and use marine transportation to reduce the number of trucks on local and regional roads and highways.

NYSDEC Region 1 Headquarters is responsible for reviewing the Permit Application and issuing any permits.
