We provide horizontal directional drilling services across the full range of project scales, from short utility crossings to long, technically challenging installations for gas, electric, renewable energy, and communications infrastructure. Our teams routinely execute HDDs through soft soils, mixed face conditions, and hard rock where precision and bore stability are critical.
Eastern Utilities Services, in coordination with Haugland Marine Service, delivers integrated marine trenchless solutions capable of executing landfalls using a range of offshore construction methodologies. Our teams adapt execution strategies to project-specific geotechnical, environmental, and permitting constraints, supporting offshore wind, submarine cable, renewable energy, and pipeline projects.
We provide microtunneling and tunneling solutions for technically constrained installations where alignment control, groundwater management, and surface protection are critical. Our experience includes crossings beneath roadways, structures, and waterbodies in urban and environmentally sensitive environments, delivering predictable installations with minimal surface disruption.
For short-length crossings where open cut is impractical or disruptive, we utilize auger boring as a reliable and cost-effective trenchless installation method.
