Payroll Administrator

Haugland Group, a family owned and operated Long Island, New York based electrical and heavy civil construction company has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team.

Key Functions

  • Review and process weekly payroll for Union contractor
  • Process time entry which includes checking accuracy of payrolls
  • Input timesheets
  • Address payroll queries from managers and employees

Qualifications

  • 2+ Experience working in payroll (Union experience is required)
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to participate productively as a contributing member in a team environment
  • Display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner
  • Ability to identify problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and makes recommendations
