I’ve been with Haugland Group for nearly three years as a Bid Coordinator for their Grace Industries division. My role involves assisting in the submission of all bids for Grace Industries and Grace Civil in the Virgin Islands. I review bid emails for amendments or notifications, download relevant information, and pass it on to the team. Once the bid is complete, I ensure it is submitted correctly, whether through a portal or hand-delivered. I enjoy the details of my job, being conscientious and organized. My responsibility is to ensure every element of the bid is present to avoid disqualification.

With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, I appreciate the impact our work has on the world. Seeing projects we’ve completed makes me proud of the work we do. My previous employment at a large heavy civil company made me aware of Haugland Group, and I was drawn to them because of their reputation and growth. Haugland Group’s welcoming atmosphere, family values, and support make it the right company for me. The people I work with feel like an extended family, and I have formed close friendships here.

Haugland Group’s outreach efforts, such as the OSHA program offered at my high school, are significant to me. This program helps students understand the trades and the importance of safety, providing them with valuable knowledge and skills.
