Sean Grubert is a seasoned safety executive with over 20 years of experience in safety management across complex construction and industrial environments. As Vice President of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) at Haugland Group, he leads the safety operations for all Haugland Group and its affiliates. Sean is responsible for driving strategic initiatives that enhance safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and mitigate organizational risk. He oversees a workforce of more than 1,000 employees, manages a dedicated team of safety professionals, and leads the corporate safety committee to promote continuous improvement across the organization.
Prior to joining Haugland Group, Sean held key roles at WDF Inc., including Corporate EHS Director and EHS Manager, where he oversaw safety operations for up to 1,000 workers across diverse projects. His efforts consistently kept OSHA metrics below national averages, reflecting his commitment to excellence in safety management.
Sean holds a B.S. degree in Behavioral Science from Mercy College and has completed coursework at Iona College. Sean is certified in a wide range of safety disciplines, including OSHA 500 Instructor, Rigging Supervision, Hazardous Waste Operations, Confined Space, Fall Protection, and CPR/AED.
