East End Substation

Haugland Virgin Islands was selected by the US Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority to provide and install a 38kV GIS switchgear lineup at the East End Substation. The project encompassed full procurement of materials and execution of both civil and electrical scopes of work. This included the design, fabrication, and shipment of the 38kV lineup to St. Thomas, along with the design, fabrication, and installation of a custom platform. The scope also covered installation of medium-voltage conduit and cabling, as well as Pfisterer terminations on exit feeders being transitioned to the new lineup, in addition to extensive grounding and site work.
