At Haugland Group, safety is paramount. It’s a core pillar of our culture and second nature in everything we do. Every project, plan, and decision begins with protecting our people, our partners, and the communities where we work.
Our approach integrates proactive safety planning, continuous training, environmental stewardship, and workforce well‑being to create jobsites where risks are minimized; accountability is shared, and everyone returns home safely.
Mental health is one of the most urgent challenges in construction and we’re addressing it head on. Haugland’s Mental Health Ambassador program equips a cross-section of our workforce with the training, tools, and confidence to recognize warning signs, start conversations, and support colleagues when it matters most. Embedded across our jobsites and offices, these ambassadors create visible, peer-to-peer support networks that normalize the conversation and break down stigma. Through initiatives like our “You Good?” campaign and daily integration into toolbox talks, mental health is treated with the same importance as physical safety, ensuring every employee feels seen, supported, and never alone.
